Listen up people,

cause I’m about to tell you the most adorable tale about some of the most adorable people you’ve ever met.

Madi and Jarrett have been following Happily Ever Atkinson on Instagram ever since my wife Kaily, and I got married at Madi’s parents barn venue, Barnswallow Farm. Very frequently she’d hit me up with, “One of these days I’m gonna get married and you’re gonna photograph it!” And as it turns out that day is rapidly approaching us!

So last summer, we were invited to a party at Barnswallow Farm and we were introduced to Jarrett. Jarrett is one of those people with an infectious personality. He’s genuinely excited about everything that is happening around him. The two of them obviously had great chemistry. When we left the party that evening my wife l were both convinced that we’d hopefully be getting that call within the next year.

This is a photo I took of these two at their summer party. Its shot on old Polaroid film with a 4x5 camera.

Aaaaand we diiiid! Right before Christmas I was busy editing some photos and took a little social media break only to find out that Jarrett had proposed to Madi the moment they had picked out their Christmas Tree.

And in other news… These two are about to be three, and they bought their first home together in Nazareth, just down the road from Jacobsburg Park. Which is where we decided to double up their engagement session with an Madi and Jarret are expecting session!
